I mostly stuck to the schedule, except that I was planning to get three miles in on Tuesday, but my knee wasn't feeling so hot after physical therapy so I decided to push the run back to Thursday instead of spin class. I actually listened to my body! Shocking, I know.
Training this weekend was especially good. My five miler on Saturday was in some ridiculous headwinds, but I fought through them without falling off pace too much. Sunday's long run felt really good. I ran the first 7 miles or so at an easy pace, and then picked it up for the last 2. The splits don't tell the whole story, since I got stuck at a few stop lights, which I don't generally stop the watch for, but I'll post them anyway since I'm sure you're all super interested :)

I'm really looking forward to heading home for Thanksgiving, and hoping the travel won't disrupt the training too much. I wouldn't want a few missed runs to dampen my appetite, now would I? Here's what's on tap for this week:
